Carol Weymuller Open 2024 – Day Three: How To Watch Live

27 January 2024

The quarter-finals of the Carol Weymuller Open 2024 have arrived, with eight players looking to book their spots in the last four of the PSA World Tour Bronze event in New York.

Action gets underway from 16:30 (GMT-5) at The Heights Casino, with every match available to watch live on SQUASHTV.

The first match of the day will see No.7 seed Lucy Beecroft take on No.4 seed Farida Mohamed. Both Beecroft and Mohamed needed four games to prevail past their second-round opponents yesterday and will both be looking to progress to a first semi-final of the season.

USA No.2 Olivia Weaver, who finished runner-up to Georgina Kennedy at the 2023 edition of this event, will continue her quest to go one better when she faces No.5 seed Hollie Naughton. Weaver dropped just 12 points on her way to victory over Nadine Shahin in the second round, while Naughton overcame an early deficit to defeat Malaysian Wildcard Min Jie Teh in four games.

No.2 seed Salma Hany will come up against compatriot and No.8 seed Hana Ramadan in the third match of the day. The pair, who have never faced off against one another on the PSA Tour before, will kick off their match at 18:00 local time.

After reaching a maiden Platinum quarter-final at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, 17-year-old Fayrouz Aboelkheir has continued her rich vein of form at the Carol Weymuller Open. After an impressive victory over No.6 seed Melissa Alves in the previous round, the Egyptian rising star will now square off against No.3 seed Sarah-Jane Perry for a spot in the last four.
