Amanda Sobhy – 400 Matches: The Breakdown

Amanda Sobhy has become only the second American woman to reach 400 PSA matches following her quarter-final clash with Egypt’s Hania El Hammamy last night in the quarter-finals of the PSA World Championships presented by the Walter Family.

Sobhy is second only to former World No.18 Latasha Khan in terms of professional appearances, with Khan playing 459 between 1997-2017, but is the highest ranked American-born woman of all-time.

The 29-year-old from Boston has a career-high ranking of No.3 and has won 20 PSA titles to date – we’ve broken down the stats behind Sobhy’s 400 matches and have taken a look back at some notable fixtures along the way.
