Wake Up Squash Angers International: Tournament Preview

The first of six tournaments taking place this week on the Challenger Tour will be the Wake Up Squash Angers International.

The Challenger 3 level women’s tournament will take place at Wake Up Form Squash from Tuesday, November 15 to Friday, November 18, with 16 players aiming to take home the title.

Denmark’s Klara Moller will be the top seed for the competition. She will be joined by compatriot Caroline Lyng, Scotland’s Katriona Allen and Switzerland’s Ambre Allinckx, who won the Open Feminin du Jeu de Paume, also on French soil, at the weekend.

The French quartet of Lea Barbeau, Ninon Lemarchand, Ana Munos and Ella Galova will make up the rest of the eight seeds for the Challenger 3 level competition in Angers.

Two more French players, in Lilou Brevard-Belliot and Kara Lincou, will also be in action. They will be joined by the Dutch duo of Naomi Nohar and Sanne Veldkamp, the Swiss pairing of Alina Poessl and Stella Kaufmann, Portugal’s Catarina Nunes and Hungarian Kincso Szasz.
