QuantiFi LifeTime Metrowest: Veer Chotrani Lifts Maiden PSA Title

Indian 21-year-old Veer Chotrani has claimed his first PSA title after winning the QuantiFi LifeTime Metrowest 2023 title, after beating giant-killer Mohamed Sharaf in a four-game final in Framingham.

After scoring the opening game 11-6, Chotrani managed to hang on well and play the big points better than Sharaf to close the game out 12-10 to take a massive 2-0 lead and place one hand on the trophy.

Sharaf has been in terrific form all week and showed his class and fighting spirit in game three as he gained a sizeable lead and converted the game 11-5 to breathe more life in the contest.

His momentum was unable to continue however as the Indian got back to winning ways in the fourth game and after pulling a few points ahead in the mid stage, never looked back as he ran out to an 11-4 win to claim the match in just short of an hour and lift his first PSA tour trophy.
