Open Féminin du Jeu de Paume: Tournament Preview

The second French event of the week on the Challenger Tour will be the Open Feminin du Jeu de Paume, which will take place in Paris from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13.

The Challenger 3 level competition will last for three days at the 74ter rue Lauriston in Paris, with Denmark’s Klara Moller as the tournament’s top seed. The World No.116 will be the favourite for the event, as she aims to win her maiden Tour title.

Irish No.1 Breanne Flynn and the French duo of Taba Taghavi and Ella Galova will be the other members of the top four seeds. Germany’s Aylin Gunsav, the Caech Republic’s Tamara Holzbauerova, Dutchwoman Juliette Permentier and Switzerland’s Ambre Allinckx will also be seeded for the tournament. 

Portugal’s Catarina Nunes will be featuring on Tour for just the second time in her career, while Egyptian junior Fareda Rakaybi will be making her debut on Tour at the Challenger 3 level competition.
