HSC International Open: Tournament Preview

The men’s event this week in Houston, the HSC International Open, begins on Wednesday, June 21 with a strong 24-man draw.

Spain’s Bernat Jaume will be the top seed this week at the Houston Squash club, with Pakistan’s Muhammad Asim Khan and defending champion Alfredo Avila as the top three seeds.

Christopher Gordon will be the No.4 seed, and the leading American in action. Egypt’s Ibrahim Elkabbani, Mexico’s Arturo Salazar, Guatemalan Josue Enriquez and Colombia’s Andres Herrera make up the rest of the top eight seeds.

Gordon will be one of four Americans in action this week in Houston. The World No.77 will be joined by Dillon Huang, Arhan Chandra and Vandrick Inman-Benavente, the latter being one of three wildcards for the event, alongside the Pakistani duo of Hamza Sharif and Faizan Khan.
