Challenger Tour Weekly Preview: Sole Event In The US

The Challenger Tour continues this week, moving into the month of February with just a single event, taking place in the United States.

Over the course of the last seven days, there have been tournaments in Canada, India and Mexico, with two of those coming to a conclusion on Sunday. The 4th HCL SRFI Indian Tour – Delhi continues into this week, and will finish on Wednesday at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium.

The E.M. Noll Classic will be the lone event this week, as it returns to the calendar for a fifth time. Three English players have won the event in previous years, including Sam Todd and Nathan Lake.

Here is what is taking place this week…

E.M. Noll Classic
The only event this week will be the E.M. Noll Classic, which will take place from Thursday, February 2 to Sunday, February 5 at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia.

England’s Sam Todd will be back to defend the crown he won in 2022, with Charlie Lee, his compatriot and last year’s runner-up, also among the top four seeds for the competition. Home hope Andrew Douglas will be the top seed, with Spaniard Bernat Jaume also in that mark.

Christopher Gordon and Spencer Lovejoy will be the other two Americans in action in Philly this week, while Ben Smith and Tom Walsh add to the English contingent. The Egyptian trio of Zahed Salem, Ibrahim Elkabbani and Seif Shenawy will also be in action, while Brazil’s Vinicius Leao Rodrigues will be the tournament’s wildcard.
