Egypt’s Fayrouz Aboelkheir is one of the youngest players on Tour, having been born in 2006, but she is already a member of the world's top 50 and she has multiple wins under her belt!

The youngster started her career in the best possible way, as she claimed the title at the Egyptian Challenger Tour #1 despite being unseeded. She then did the exact same thing at the CIB Egyptian Challenger Tour, beating Malak Kamal in a five game final to take her second win in just three tournaments.

In September of 2021, Aboelkheir got her first taste of Platinum level action, at the CIB Egyptian Open, and thanks to that she catapulted herself into the world’s top 100 for the first time, at the age of just 15. She also made the semi-finals of the CAS - Serena Hotels / Combaxx International Squash Championships, her first voyage outside of Egypt, and she started 2022 just outside the top 70 in the World Rankings.

By the end of the year, Aboelkheir would be a consistent member of the world’s top 50, thanks to some more strong performances on both the PSA World Tour and Challenger Tour.

It started with a semi-final at the Equinox Boston Open, before last eight appearances at the E.M. Noll Classic and Val de Reuil Normandie. The young Egyptian then made the last 16 of the Carol Weymuller Open before starting the 2022-2023 campaign with a first Bronze level semi-final. She made it to the last four of the Open de France de Squash in Nantes to kick off the new season.

She then claimed a third Challenger Tour title, winning the CAS - Serena Hotels/Combaxx International Squash Championships, thanks to beating compatriot Malak Khafagy in the final. That was followed by a string of last 16 appearances on the PSA World Tour, including a first Platinum third round. That came at the Everbright Securities International Hong Kong Squash Open.

After a last 16 result at the Carol Weymuller Open, Aboelkheir then made the semis of the Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Squash Open. Another third round result, this time at the El Gouna International, saw the young Egyptian move up to a career-high of World No.33.
