Turmel and Wilhelmi Named PSA Challenger Tour Players of the Month

England's Lucy Turmel and Switzerland's Yannick Wilhelmi have been named the PSA Challenger Tour Players of the Month for January.

World No.25 Turmel produced an assured performance as the top seed at the Equinox Women's Boston Open.

The 22-year-old beat Anna Kimberley, Julianne Courtice and Fayrouz Aboelkheir to progress to the final, where she needed just 28 minutes to see off No.2 seed Tze Lok Ho with a 3-0 win.

World No.98 Wilhelmi, meanwhile, upset Welsh top seed Emyr Evans with a 3-0 win in the final to capture the PSA Challenger Le Reve, having already beaten Toufik Mekhalfi, Joshua Phinera and Brice Nicolas without dropping a game.
