Holmes Naden Prestbury Open: Tournament Preview

22 October 2021

The final event of the week on the Challenger Tour comes from Macclesfield, England, with the Holmes Naden Prestbury Squash Open beginning on Friday 22 October.

The Challenger 3 level event runs for three days and features both a men’s and women’s draw, with 32 players aiming for glory come Sunday afternoon in Macclesfield.

Switzerland’s World No.63 Nadia Pfister heads up the women’s draw, with the English trio of Lily Taylor, Kace Bartley and Torrie Malik as her nearest contenders for the crown.

Egypt’s Rana Ismail, Portugal’s Sofia Aveiro Pita, Dutchwoman Juliette Permentier, Scotland’s Catherine Holland and the French pairing of Ella Galova and Ana Munos give the draw a European feel.

Five Englishmen lead the way in the men’s draw, with Charlie Lee as the top seed. Curtis Malik, Harry Falconer, Perry Malik and James Peach are also joined by the French duo of Laouenan Loaec and Brice Nicolas amongst the top eight seeds.

The event takes place from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 October at Prestbury Squash Club in Macclesfield, England. Follow the PSA Challenger Tour on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates from the event.
