Zarbaf Farahan: Jahromi Takes Second Win Of 2021

Iranian No.1 Sajad Zareian Jahromi has claimed his second victory in as many months on the PSA Challenger Tour, after a dominant display at the Zarbaf Farahan Squash Tournament in Tehran.

The event was limited, like all current tournaments on the Challenger Tour, with only players currently residing in Iran being allowed to enter the Challenger 5 level event.

Jahromi was the top seed for the event once again, like he was for the Commemoration Of The Martyrs Of The Iranian Navy Army tournament in February.

The World No.261 came through the tournament without any major scares, winning all four of his matches 3-1, including a 48-minute victory over Mohammad Kashani in the final.

Jahromi had already gotten the better of Pouya Shafieifard, Alireza Shameli and Amin Ataei en route to his second final in three weeks. He now has three wins on the Challenger Tour in his career, with all of those coming on home soil.
