Aamir Triumphs In Battle Of Brothers

Pakistan’s Aamir Atlas Khan secured his place in the final of the Serena Hotels CAS International Squash Championship, PSA International 25 tournament taking place in Islamabad, Pakistan by defeating his younger brother Danish in the semi-finals.

It was a victory that sees Aamir avenge two recent defeats to his younger brother on the PSA World Tour and sees him carry the hopes of the nation into the final, where he will face Egyptian top seed Omar Abdel Meguid in the hopes of becoming the first winner of a PSA International event to be staged in Pakistan since 2007.

Aamir secured his place in the final courtesy of a hard-fought 3-2 victory, with his brother pushing him all the way before eventually falling 11-9, 5-11, 11-13, 14-12, 11-5 while Meguid eased past Qatar’s Abdulla Mohd Al Tamini 3-0 to progress to the final without dropping a single game en route.
