World No.1 Nour El Sherbini has become the youngest female player to ever reach 500 professional squash matches, with the seven-time World Champion achieving the milestone at 28 years and 10 months.

El Sherbini, who eclipsed the legendary Nicol David as the youngest player to achieve this feat, reached match No.500 during last week’s CIB Egyptian Open – the first-ever Diamond event on the PSA Squash Tour, and an event which the Egyptian went on to win.
