CIB Egyptian Open 2024 – Day Four: How To Watch Live

Round three of the CIB Egyptian Open 2024 continues today, with the last eight quarter-final spots of the first-ever Diamond-level event up for grabs.

Play will be split across two courts in Cairo, with action from Court 6 getting underway at 12:30 (GMT+3) and glass court matches starting at 19:00. Every second of action will be available to watch live on SQUASHTV.

Both No.2 seeds will be in action on day four, with current World Champion Nouran Gohar and New Zealand’s Paul Coll continuing their quests for silverware. Gohar will face former World No.3 Amanda Sobhy, who marked her return to tour from an Achilles tear with a four-game victory over Rachel Arnold. Meanwhile, Gohar will be looking to extend her unbeaten record on the PSA Squash Tour, which dates all the way back to April 2024. Men’s World No.2 Coll will face Eain Yow Ng for a spot in the last eight.

The other women’s match on the showpiece glass court will see the unseeded Egyptian duo, Sana Ibrahim or Nour Heikal, square off against one another. Both players have enjoyed terrific tournaments to this point, with Ibrahim scoring a huge upset over No.4 seed Nele Gilis in the previous round, and Heikal having come through the qualifying event and two impressive victories in the main draw. The final match on the glass court will see ‘The Raging Bull’ Mostafa Asal come up against Egyptian compatriot Youssef Soliman.

Meanwhile, on Court 6, both ElShorbagy brothers will be looking to book their spots in the last eight. England’s No.8 seed Mohamed will take on Ramit Tandon, while Marwan will look to back up his impressive victory over Karim Abdel Gawad against French No.1 Victor Crouin. The two women’s matches will see Nada Abbas take on Malaysian No.1 Sivasangari Subramaniam and No.7 seed Rowan Elaraby face Georgia Adderley.
