Coll Returns To World No.2 In Latest PSA Men’s World Rankings

24 June 2024

New Zealand’s Paul Coll has returned to World No.2 in the latest PSA Men’s World Rankings following the conclusion of the Xbox PSA World Tour Finals last week.

Coll, who had lost this position after Mostafa Asal captured the British Open crown earlier this month, has retaken the spot from ‘The Raging Bull’, who has dropped down to World No.3, as a result. Coll, 32, reached the semi-finals of the season-ending event before being defeated by World No.1 Ali Farag.

The other significant riser in the men’s top ten if Tarek Momen. The Egyptian has reaped the rewards of his run to the last four of the World Tour Finals by replacing Mohamed ElShorbagy as the World No.7. ‘The Viper’ looked in standout form in Bellevue last week, claiming impressive victories over both Diego Elias and Coll, before eventually being knocked out by Mostafa Asal in the semi-finals. As a result, ElShorbagy has dropped down one position to World No.8.

There are no other changes within the top 20, with Farag remaining at World No.1 after claiming his eighth title of the 2023/24 PSA World Tour season.
