El Gouna International Squash Open – Day One: How to Watch Live

The 12th edition of the El Gouna International Squash Open gets underway today with 32 matches looking to secure places in round two at the El Gouna Squash Complex.

Play starts at 12:00 (GMT+2) across four courts on a busy day of squash in Egypt. All courts will be streamed live on SQUASHTV. Whilst live scores will be available here.

Court 1 will see French pair Sebastien Bonmalais and Gregoire Marche try to book second round spots as they face the entertaining Tsz Kwan Lau and USA’s Shahjahan Khan at 12:45 and 16:45. English pair Lucy Turmel and Jasmine Hutton will also feature on Court 1 as they take on Kenzy Ayman and Ka Yi Lee. Recent German Open champion Eain Yow Ng will be looking to continue his good form as he closes play on the court taking on Mexico’s Cesar Salazar.

England’s Alicia Mead was a late call up to the event and features in her first Platinum event today as she faces Malaysia’s Rachel Arnold. More British interest features on the court later in the day as Curtis Malik faces Bernat Jaume, Tesni Murphy takes on Nicole Bunyan and Scotland’s Greg Lobban and Rory Stewart will square off for the first time on tour.

Both wildcards are in action on court 3 today as they open and close play. Women’s wildcard Salma Elalfy will play compatriot Mariam Metwally at 12:00 whilst men’s wildcard Moustafa Elsirty will go up against Argentina’s Leandro Romiglio.

Finally, Court 4 will see Swiss duo Nicolas Mueller and Dimitri Steinmann look to secure places in round two. They’ll be up against Egypt’s Ibrahim Elkabbani and Colombia’s Juan Camilo Vargas at 12:45 and 16:45.
