El Tayeb Back up to No.6 in PSA Women’s World Rankings
Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb has risen two places to No.6 following her win over England’s Georgina Kennedy in the final of the Squash in the Land Presented by Greater Cleveland Squash last night.

Nour El Tayeb
Previous Ranking: No.8
New Ranking: No.6
El Tayeb captured her third title of the season after she came back from a game down to beat Kennedy in Cleveland.
It’s the first time El Tayeb has won three events in a single campaign since the 2019-20 season and No.6 is her highest ranking since November, 2023.
Tinne Gilis
Previous Ranking: No.9
New Ranking: No.8
Belgium’s Tinne Gilis has moved up a spot to No.8.
Her rise comes after USA’s Olivia Weaver dropped two places due to her points for her victory at last year’s Chestnut Hill Classic presented by Springside Chestnut Hill Academy expiring.
Sabrina Sobhy
Previous Ranking: No.14
New Ranking: No.13
Sabrina Sobhy also moves up despite not appearing in Cleveland, moving to No.13.
Previous incumbent Joelle King has moved a place the other way. The New Zealander – who has been out since October due to a back injury – saw her semi-final points for the 2023 Black Ball Open expire.
Sivasangari Subramaniam

New Ranking: No.15
Malaysia’s Sivasangari Subramaniam has cracked the top 15 once again after she reached the semi-finals in Cleveland.
Seeded fourth for the event. Subramaniam beat Egypt’s Kenzy Ayman and England’s Alicia Mead en route to the semis before she went down in a gripping five-game contest with Kennedy, losing 11-9 in the fifth.
