The annual PSA Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday September 2 ahead of the finals of the Paris Squash Alpine – the first PSA World Tour Platinum event of the 2023-24 season.

The PSA Awards ceremony will be staged at the Palais de Tokyo – which will also host the Paris Squash Alpine – and will celebrate the achievements and performances of the world’s top squash players over the 2022-23 campaign.

The ceremony will get under way at 18:30 local time (CEST) prior to the final and will be broadcast live on the SQUASHTV YouTube channel.

The event committee said: “We’re very excited to host the 2022/23 PSA Awards ceremony at the first Platinum event of the season on the PSA World Tour.

“It’s great to have an event like this to recognise and celebrate the players’ achievements from the 2022/23 season in what will already be a momentous occasion with the inaugural Paris Squash Alpine. We wish everyone the best of luck for the awards.”

Voting Procedure

Voting comprises a two-part process, combining the votes made by squash fans on social media with the votes made by the PSA Awards Committee – a group consisting of selected influential former players, members of the media, tournament promoters and PSA Board representatives.

This then determines the winners of the four biggest annual awards; Female Player of the Year, Male Player of the Year, Young Female Player of the Year and Young Male Player of the Year

The players with the most cumulative points are the winners.

The shortlists for each award will be revealed on Tuesday August 1, at which point public voting on each award will commence.

The public vote for each award will close at 23:59 (GMT+1) on Thursday August 10, with the winner of each award set to be announced in Paris.
