Challenger Tour Weekly Preview: Three Events – Three Continents This Week On The Challenger Tour

3 July 2023

There are three events taking place this week on the PSA Challenger Tour with all three taking place across different continents. The first event to get underway comes from Mexico for the STT Petróleos Open 2023 which features a men’s 10 event as well as a women’s satellite. World No.27 and Mexican No.1 Leonel Cardenas tops the men’s draw as he looks to claim his 14th title and a first on home soil.

The Berkhamsted Linksap Open gets underway on the June 6th with 32 men and women looking to capture the Challenger 5 titles in the south of England. Ben Coleman tops the men’s draw but will face tough opposition from the likes of recent winner Velevan Senthilkumer, British Junior Open winner Finnlay Withington and James Peach. Torrie Malik tops the women’s side of the draw as she looks to claim yet another PSA title.

The final event of the week comes from Victoria, Australia as the City of Greater Shepparton Invitational returns to the PSA calendar for another year. Both the men’s and women’s events are Challenger 3 level and feature some of Australias best up and coming talents. World Junior Champion Rowan Damming tops the men’s draw whilst Malaysia’s Yasshmita Jadishkumar leads the women’s event.
