Evans Up to No.12 in PSA Women’s World Rankings

Wales’ Tesni Evans is up to her highest ranking since August 2021 after the 30-year-old rose a place to No.12 following the release of today’s PSA Women’s World Rankings.

Tesni Evans

New Ranking: No.12

Previous Ranking: No.13

Evans has struggled for form in the latter stages of 2021 and the early parts of 2022, but ended the year with a flourish, reaching the final of the New Zealand Open in November before following that up with a semi-final finish at the Malaysian Open.

The Welsh star is set to compete in four events before the end of February and will be eyeing up a move back into the top 10 in the New Year.

Salma Hany

New Ranking: No.13

Previous Ranking: No.14

A move closer to the top 10 for Salma Hany, who lost her coveted place inside last month.

Sivasangari Subramaniam

New Ranking: No.18

Previous Ranking: No.19

Malaysia’s Sivasangari Subramaniam – who is still out recovering following a car collision – moves up a spot to reach her highest ranking since October.

Lisa Aitken

New Ranking: No.21

Previous Ranking: No.28

Scotland’s Lisa Aitken will celebrate the festive period having reached a career-high ranking of No.21.
