MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open 2022: Day 2 – How To Watch Live

16 November 2022

The top half second round action from the MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open 2022 commences today with eight seeded players joining eight round one winners, all looking for a place in the Gold event quarter finals.

Both No.1 seeds will be in action first on day two as USA’s Amanda Sobhy and Paul Coll will face Egypt’s Nadine Shahin and Eain Yow Ng respectively on the all glass court at the OCBC Arena. Sobhy will be looking to start strongly in the event and ultimately try and capture her second event of the season, whereas Coll will be determined to go one better than the New Zealand Open last week and capture silverware for the first time this season.

Malaysia’s Aifa Azman scored a big victory over USA’s Olivia Clyne on day one and will be looking to carry that good form into her round two match against No.3 seed Nour El Tayeb. The Egyptian is always dangerous and is already knocking on the door of the world’s top 4 and a good event here in Singapore will certainly help her cause.

Possibly the most in-form player in the field, Mohamed ElShorbagy, is in action today as he takes on Raphael Kandra for a quarter final place. The German No.1 beat ElShorbagy in the British Open back in March but the outstanding form of the Englishman can’t go unnoticed as he looks to capture his fourth title in six events this week.

All of the action from the MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open will be streamed live on SQUASHTV. Stay up to date with anything related to the event by following the PSA on TwitterFacebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. The live scores will also be available here.
