PSA Bordeaux Gradignan: Tournament Preview

The first of two events taking place on European soil this week will be the PSA Bordeaux Gradignan, being played in France from Wednesday, October 26 to Sunday, October 30.

The Challenger 10 level men’s event will feature 24 men aiming for glory at Squash Bad 33 in the French city of Bordeaux, with Colombia’s Juan Camilo Vargas being the top seed for the tournament.

The Colombian will face strong competition for the title from Portuguese No.1 Rui Soares, Scotland’s Rory Stewart, Egypt’s Ibrahim Elkabbani, Czechia’s Daniel Mekbib and Spaniard Ivan Perez, who are all members of the world’s top 100 going into the tournament.

Welshman Emyr Evans and England’s Ben Coleman will make up the rest of the top eight seeds, while Frenchman Benjamin Aubert will be the leading home hope. He will be joined by Edwin Clain, Manu Paquemar, Maceo Levy, Laszlo Godde, Joshua Phinera, Paul Gonzalez.
