Here’s the order of play for this evening
(All times are local – GMT+2)

The start times around the world for tonight’s semi-finals

First up, No.2 seed Tinne Gilis takes on Egypt’s Fayrouz Aboelkheir for a place in the final in what will be their first meeting on the World Tour.

Gillis chalked up her 100th Tour victory in sealing her semi-final place, defeating Nicole Bunyan at the quarter-final stage.

Teenager Aboelkheir will be looking to crown her dream run in this tournament by reaching her first PSA World Tour final appearance.

The 16-year-old has had an impressive streak so far, including claiming the scalp of French No.1 Melissa Alves in the second round.

Can Aboelkheir go one better and reach her maiden PSA World Tour final this evening by overcoming the World No.12?

In the first men’s semi-final, No.1 seed Marwan ElShorbagy meets Indian’s No.1 Saurav Ghosal.

ElShorbagy defeated Englishmen Nick Wall and Declan James on his way to the last four, while Ghosal saw off Charlie Lee and Spain No.1 Iker Pajaras Bernabeu to reach the semi-finals.

Ghosal, the No.3 seed in the tournament, has the upperhand in this battle with ElShorbagy having four of their previous five meetings. Will that count in his favour tonight?

The second semi-final in the women’s draw pits the tournament’s No.3 and No.1 seeds, Tesni Evans and Nele Gilis, against each other.

World No.20 Evans cruised her way to the final four with victories over Cristina Gomez and Nardine Garas.

Gilis, who could meet her sister in the final if both prevail in their semi-final showdowns, dispatched Marie Stephan and Salma Eltayeb to book her place in the last four.

The pair have met four times previously, with Evans winning three of those clashes.

The Open de France will see a Frenchman compete in the final as the second last four battle in the men’s draw sees Victor Crouin and Auguste Dussourd go head-to-head.

Crouin, who became the new French No.1 earlier this week after moving up the world rankings, will be aiming to secure another final appearance after reaching that stage in the Qatar Classic last week.

The 23-year-old beat Aly Abou Eleinen of Egypt and Mexico’s Leonel Cardenas in straight sets on his passage to the semi-finals.

Unseeded Frenchman Dussourd overcame Rory Stewart, fellow countryman and No.2 seed Gregoire Marche and George Parker to set up a meeting with his fellow compatriot.

Which Frenchman will be competing for the Open de France on home court when these two battle it out for a place in the final?
