Alexander Returns To Winning Ways At North Coast Open

5 September 2016

After suffering his first defeat in over a year at last month’s Australian Open, 27-year-old World No.92 Zac Alexander returned to winning ways at the M5 North Coast Open as he stormed to the title without dropping a single game.

Alexander saw his incredible 31-match winning streak halted at the hands of antipodean rival Paul Coll in August but he bounced back in style on home soil as he saw off Omar El Tahry, Taminder Gata-Aura, Sebastien Bonmalais and top seeded Joshua Larkin in straight games to clinch the title – the 22nd PSA World Tour crown of his career.

In the women’s event Australia’s Tamika Saxby collected the fifth PSA World Tour title of her career as she also downed top seeded Lisa Camilleri in straight games, coming through 11-3, 11-8, 11-2 in 23 minutes.
