Squash on Social: Inside the PSA World Tour

The UCS Swedish Open saw more swashbuckling live squash appear on both SQUASHTV and Eurosport Player screens last week with Karim Abdel Gawad capturing his first ever PSA M70 title.

With a bit of downtime until the next broadcast squash event, the Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim Partners and EquiTrust Life Insurance Company, we thought we would have a look at what the stars of the PSA have been up to on social media.

English duo Sarah Campion and Jenny Duncalf get into an on-court tangle during a previous match. And we thought Squash was a non-contact sport!

Duncalf endured a day of mixed fortunes as she won her first round British National Championship match with Leonie Holt but proceeded to ruin a new pair of trainers in the post match meal. Well, better than going on the carpet, Jenny!

Luckily for Duncalf, United States No.1 Amanda Sobhy was on hand to lend a sympathetic ear… Or not!

Having claimed four successive PSA World Tour titles and achieved a 16-match unbeaten streak during June-October last year, World No.44 Declan James isn’t used to losing very often. Here, it seems that the Englishman took a rare defeat with good grace.

Reiko Peter shares a stunning picture from Phoenix, United States while he takes part in the Ganem Vein Institute Cactus Classic. We’re certainly jealous of the weather Reiko!

The enigmatic Ramy Ashour shares more philosophical wisdom as he looks set to spend more time off the court after withdrawing from the upcoming Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim Partners and Equitrust Life Insurance Company

Congratulations to Saurav Ghosal and his Indian team-mates on winning gold at the South Asian Games.

Nicol David welcomed the Chinese New Year by showing off her artistic skills.
