Israeli fifth seed Daniel Poleschuk toppled defending champion James Earles in the semi-final of the LOC Charing Cross Classic, PSA M5 event to reach only the second PSA World Tour final of his career.

The 19-year-old claimed the opener after his hard-hitting shots paved the way for a number of mistakes from Earles however the momentum swung considerably in the second as Earles drew level.

Both players then took a game apiece to send the match in to a dramatic finale. Earles surrendered two match balls and seemed to lose his composure in the fifth which allowed Poleschuk to steal in and complete a titanic 11-6, 6-11, 8-11, 11-7, 12-10 victory.

He will face Matthew Hopkin in the final after the Australian came through his encounter against number two seed Geoffrey Demont with a 3-1 triumph.
