Top seed James Earles secured his place in the semi-final of the LOC Charing Cross Classic, PSA M5 event with a straightforward 3-0 victory against fellow Englishman Lyell Fuller.

The World No.85, who has two PSA World Tour titles to his name, edged out a nervy opening game as both players tried to cut down on any early errors.

Frustrations started to creep in to Fuller’s game as Earles continued to play a flawless match and the defending champion cantered to an 11-9, 11-7, 11-3 triumph.

He will line up against Israel’s Daniel Poleshchuk in the semi-final after the talented 19-year-old bested wildcard Kyle Finch by the same scoreline.

Geoffrey Demont and Matthew Hopkin will go head-to-head in the other semi-final fixture after sealing victories against Chris Hall and Patrick Rooney, respectively.
