Egyptian duo Omar Abdel Meguid and Mohamed Abouelghar will go head-to-head in the final of the CAS International Squash Championship, PSA M25 event after respective triumphs against Karim Ali Fathi and Nasir Iqbal at the semi-final stage.

Defending champion Meguid, who beat Aamir Atlas Khan in last year’s final, dropped the first game to Fathi as the latter looked to spring an upset on a player that he had beaten in the pair’s only previous encounter last year.

However, Meguid came through a dramatic tie-break in the second game and powered on through to a 6-11, 14-12, 11-3, 11-9 victory to seal his place in the final.

Second seed Abouelghar on the other hand went up against home hope Iqbal in his semi-final fixture and managed to overcome the World No.44 with a 3-1 success.
