El Gouna International: How To Watch Day One Live

Just five days on from the finals of the CIB PSA World Championships Cairo, the next major tournament on the PSA World Tour gets underway, with the opening day of the El Gouna International.

Matches on the first two days of the Platinum level tournament will be held at the Squash Complex El Gouna, and we will be streaming all of the action LIVE on the PSA SQUASHTV YouTube channel.

The action starts at 12:00 (GMT+2), with the likes of Belgium’s Tinne Gilis and Egypt’s Nour El Tayeb kicking off the day’s play. The Belgian will take on up-and-coming Hongkonger Chan Sin Yuk, while the former World No.3 will face Farida Mohamed in an all-Egypt battle.

All four wildcards for the tournament will be in action on the opening day in El Gouna, and all against fellow Egyptians. Haya Ali plays Hana Ramadan and Zeina Zein does battle with Mariam Metwally in the women’s matches, while Mohamed Nasir plays Moustafa El Sirty and Aly Abou Eleinen faces off against Omar Mosaad in the men’s draw.

El Gouna International: How To Watch Day One Live

The first day’s play of the El Gouna International Squash Open takes place today, as the second Platinum event of the year gets underway.

The El Gouna Squash Centre will play host to the early rounds, with four traditional courts in use over the first few days. 32 matches will take place on the opening day, with those seeded 17 to 48 in action, aiming to book a place in the second round.

17 nationalities will be represented on the opening day’s play in El Gouna, with the action starting at 11:00 (GMT). Jana Shiha will take on Coline Aumard, Menna Nasser plays Danielle Letourneau, Enora Villard and Haley Mendez do battle and Lucy Turmel and Emilia Soini face off in the first set of matches.

Elsewhere, former World No.1 Gregory Gaultier will get his campaign underway in the final set of matches against England’s Nathan Lake, while all four wildcards will also be in action.

Roger Baddour will face Youssef Ibrahim, Habiba El Dafrawy takes on USA’s Olivia Fiechter, Aly Abou Eleinen will play Youssef Soliman and Nour Aboulmakarim does battle with fellow Egyptian Farida Mohamed.
