PSA Budapest Open – Quarter Finals: How to Watch Live

24 September 2024

We’re down to the last eight at the PSA Budapest Open 2024 with four quality matches set to decide the semi-finalists of the PSA Squash Tour Copper event.

It was a day of seeding casualties yesterday at City Squash as five of the top eight seeds exited the competition on the all-glass court.

Surprise winners Yannick Wilhelmi and Declan James will open the day’s play whilst two of the three seeds that progressed from day two will square off in the second of the day as George Parker and Mohamed Abouelghar will compete for a spot in the semis.

Egypt’s Yassin Elshafei and England’s Jonah Bryant are third on day three after their upsets against No.8 seed Bernat Jaume and top seed Leandro Romiglio.

Wales’ Emyr Evans closed out day two with a party-spoiling win over No.3 seed and home favourite Balazs Farkas. He’ll be taking on friend and training partner Patrick Rooney in the last match of the day after Rooney survived a comeback from Daniel Poleshchuk to advance.

Quarter final action gets underway at 15:00 (GMT+2) with action available to watch live here. Live scores are also available to follow here.
